Mobyko wanted to take their staff to a European destination for their Christmas event. They required a city which was less than 2 hours flight from the UK and which had good daytime and evening entertainment. They also needed to stay in hotel which had conference facilities, as they had to have business review before undertaking an afternoon activity.

After discussing various European destinations, such as Budapest, Barcelona & Prague, it was decided that Amsterdam was the best fit for the client’s requirements.

A city centre hotel with meeting facilities was organised for an overnight stay. For the afternoon activity, we suggested an activity that would allow the staff to discover some of the sights of this beautiful city. Therefore, the group undertook an Orienteering/ Treasure Hunt activity, which incorporated several of the main sights, as well as a couple of bar stops along the way. The final destination was Jamie Oliver’s renowned Fifteen restaurant, where the guests enjoyed fantastic cuisine. The following morning a further informal meeting took place at the hotel, before the group were transferred to the airport for their journey back to the UK.

The feedback shows what a fantastic Christmas event the group had:

‘We had a fabulous time, with many rating it as the best Christmas party they have ever had.The hotel staff were nice and helpful. The hotel was excellent, with a good conference room and was in a perfect location.

The team exercise we did was great too - probably the best thing we could have done in terms of the ability to get people form different areas mixing and mingling. The event manager was good.

Fifteen was a fabulous idea. We had a lot of fun. So overall it was excellent. The event was a success. Thank you very much for all your help.
