Communities First wanted a day of activities based near Cardiff that would help their team bond and get them maximising their potential. As it was a Welsh event, there was only one person in the Chillisauce team to turn to- the Welsh wizard herself Isabel Gwynder-Lewis. What Isabel doesn’t know about teambuilding or Wales isn’t worth knowing, and she put together a top day of events for the Communities First team.
The team kicked off their day with a morning of teambuilding activities including human sheep herding and constructing a cradle to hold five people 4ft off the ground. They then headed outside to take part in a Polaroid Camera Challenge in Land Rovers which tested their communication and map reading skills around Cardiff.
After a BBQ lunch the group went off road behind the wheel of 4×4 vehicles, burned rubber on quad bikes and blasted the life out of some imitation birds on the clay pigeon shoot range. After such an action-packed day the team were revitalised, if a little tired!
‘Hi Isabel, the whole team had a fantastic time team building, and really enjoyed the activities planned. There was no pressure to take part in the activities but everyone did and that was great. Again thank you for your time and efforts in arranging the day, very much appreciated. We will certainly come back to you in the future for other events.’
