Every year on the 11th month the men are separated from the boys at Chillisauce as those that dare, grow a mo in aid of prostate cancer. Movember participants known as ‘Mo Bros’ grow and groom their moustache throughout the month and along the way raise as much money and awareness about male health issues as possible. Halloween Silent Disco
The Chillisauce team are always looking for ways to spice up their Friday nights, so when we heard about a Halloween Silent Disco in Islington we were all rather excited. The premise of the night was fairly obvious with some fairly big clues in the name of the evening; everyone is given a set of headphones and gets to listen to their choice of beats. It’s a case of probably having to be there, but trust me, it provides some serious fun. Especially when you take off your headphones and look around to hear a cacophony of bum notes and witness the Johnny T like prowess of the Chillisauce dancers.

Fame!
This prowess was never seen to better effect than at the Fame dance class we attended at a top dance studio in Mayfair last week. Leg warmers and headbands were out in full force but agility and grace were conspicuous by their absence. We applied the Chillisauce maxim of ‘throw yourself into it’ and pray there’s a lifeguard nearby so we made for an energetic if not elegant group. Exceptional praise goes to Ian “rubber legs” Rowley and his ‘break dancing’ efforts (a string of gawky backward rolls).
