Brief:
Weight Watchers asked us to organise a fun and memorable team building event for their business leaders based at head office. The purpose of the event was to encourage the staff to see the benefits of working as a team and to enable them to communicate effectively together.
Our Thinking:
We suggested that the Weight Watchers event should be held at a popular hotel in Burnham. For the team building activity we suggested employees take part in the ‘Commercial Break’ with teams taking back a DVD of their adverts to the office to remind them of the day.
The Finer Details:
We chose the Commercial Break activity, as a fun and relaxed event which also incorporates valuable business messages. We kept the business messages relevant to the company by asking staff to split into three teams in order to make a Weight Watchers advert about their new products. The adverts had to include content relating to the Weight Watchers points system. The Commercial Break activity allows staff to communicate, produce and deliver a product together, whilst allowing for endless creative opportunities. After teams had designed and produced their adverts, they came together as a group to watch each other’s adverts before a prize giving ceremony.
Feedback:
“Good communication. Happy to tailor to our specific needs and design a package to meet our requirements. The hotel went the extra mile to meet our specific menu requirements. The hotel staff were exceptionally efficient and willing to please. The activity was enjoyed by all. The training, team building and creative aims of our day were met and that outcome meant my boss was pleased too! I would recommend this as a brilliant corporate event”
